Seared Tuna

Seared Peppered Tuna Steak, Stir-Fry Veggies, and Wasabi Mashed Potatoes

Coat tuna with fresh ground pepper - leave tuna in fridge until just minutes before searing - this helps it not cook in the middle. Sear tuna in a little evoo on high heat - about 1 minute per side.

I used frozen stir-fry veggie mix and sauteed them in a little evoo, sesame oil, and fresh ginger then added a splash of soy sauce at the end.
Wasabi Mashed Potatoes -
this was an interesting dish, a good side to any asian meal. Boil potatoes (i always boil in chicken broth) then smashed with a fork and added salt, butter, and plain reduced fat yogurt, then added about a 1/2 teaspoon of wasabi powder. mix until blended.
Plate up and enjoy!
